Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Lower Secondary School nr 3 is situated in Ełk, a picturesque town in the North-East of Poland, called the capital of Masuria - the Land of Thousand Lakes.
The school was brought into being in 1999. It is located in a two-floor building. It has got spacious classrooms equipped with a wide range of audiovisual aids. It also owns a modern language laboratory and sport facilities like a gymnasium, a gym and a playground. Our students can broaden their horizons surfing the Internet in the school library or the room for Computer Studies, both equipped with upgraded computers.
The school society is proud of the students' achievements in many fields such as sports, knowledge competitions, theatre and music festivals. In 2004 the school was rewarded the certificate Szkoła z klasą. On the 26th of May the ceremony of giving the name of cardinal Stefan Wyszyński for the school took place. Since then, May 26th is annually celebrated as the Day of the Patron.
